24 HOUR HELPLINE

Collect and anonymous calls accepted.

The DASI 24-hour Helpline is available if you need information for yourself or for someone else, or if you would simply like to talk about your situation. Trained staff persons are there to offer support, safety planning, information, and referrals 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Callers may remain anonymous, and collect calls are accepted.

• If you are a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, or human trafficking in need of temporary emergency shelter, you may call the Helpline for more information and/or a safe house assessment.
• If you suspect you are being abused but are not sure, we can provide information about the dynamics of domestic violence and abuse to help you better understand your relationship.
• If you have been sexually assaulted or abused, the Helpline can provide support, information, referrals. The Helpline can, if you choose to do so, activate the Sussex County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) so that you are not alone during medical or law enforcement proceedings.
• If you are a victim of domestic abuse, sexual assault/abuse, or human trafficking the DASI Helpline can provide information to help you better understand your legal and situational options, and provide referrals to appropriate services and resources.
• If you are a concerned friend or family member of a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault/abuse, or human trafficking you can obtain information and referrals that may be helpful to that person, or helpful to you in supporting that person.
