Parenting can be a challenge in the best of times, but parenting during and after domestic violence can be particularly difficult. Children may have a variety of reactions to witnessing one parent abuse or batter the other, which can result in behaviors that range from concerning to dangerous.
DASI Parenting Seminars are educational workshops designed for survivors of domestic violence who want to better understand their children and the impact of domestic violence on their families. Participants may also increase their parenting effectiveness by understanding the root of their children’s behaviors and enhancing their response skills in critical situations.
DASI Parenting Seminars are offered at various times, in response to interest.
