24 Hour Hotline: 973-875-1211
The
DASI Hotline is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is
staffed by trained advocates and volunteers who are here to listen, and
to provide support, information and referrals.
You may call anonymously and your communication will be kept confidential.
If
you are a victim of domestic violence or sexual assault in need of
temporary emergency shelter, you may call the Hotline for more
information and/or a shelter assessment.
If
you suspect you are being abused but are not sure, we can provide
information about the dynamics of domestic violence and abuse to help
you better understand your relationship.
If
you have been sexually assaulted or abused, the Hotline can provide
support, information, referrals, and can, if you choose to do so,
activate the Sussex County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART).
If
you are a victim of domestic abuse or sexual assault/abuse, the DASI
Hotline can provide information to help you better understand your
legal and situational options, and provide referrals to appropriate
services and resources.
If
you are a concerned friend or family member of a victim of domestic
violence or sexual assault/abuse, you can obtain information and
referrals that may be helpful to that person, or helpful to you in
supporting that person.
